Sasami returns with her latest track and video for Honeycrash, the LA-based rocker’s newest release since her 2022 album, Squeeze achieved mass acclaim. In the Andrew Thomas Huang directed video Sasami wields a guitar as her instrument/weapon against a wall of various elements of dangers: fire, water, and the chaos of storms, she dances crawls and seduces. Her wardrobe styled by Humberto Leon unbothered by the traitorous weather. Her collision of guitar hooks and ethereal vocals veer into siren than angel, making for the perfect match violence meet vulnerability in the same tradition of women in rock such as PJ Harvey, Elizabeth Fraser, Kazu Makino, and Kim Gordon.
