The Scarlet Opera played a blazing sold out show to a roaring crowd on the NY stop of their sold out tour.
This was my fourth or fifth time seeing them, and it’s incredible seeing them grow in confidence and swagger as the new music they are writing gets better and better.
In support of their latest song, “
Catch Me If You Can,” they ripped through songs from previous releases and covers, including a really moving performance of “I Fell In Love With a Dead Boy” by
Anohni and the Johnsons.
Luka is clearly gaining in his confidence as a front man and leaving it all on the stage (so much so that he fell sick the next day).
If you haven’t treated yourself to a live show with the band. What are you waiting for?
