Los Angeles’ storied bespoke tailor and independent fashion house High Society has opened the doors to its highly anticipated flagship location at 8377 Beverly Boulevard. The new two-story space marks a bold evolution for the brand, merging a reimagined tailoring studio with a curated gallery concept. Designed as both a workspace and cultural hub, the flagship celebrates the intersection of craftsmanship, individuality, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, positioning High Society as a cornerstone of modern Los Angeles fashion culture.
At the heart of the flagship is a personalized customization experience, where clients can choose pieces from the ready-to-wear collection and have them tailored on-site, collaborating directly with in-house artisans on fabric, fit, and detailing. The store also continues the Lim family’s legacy of bespoke tailoring, offering full-service made-to-measure garments for those seeking the timeless precision that built the brand’s reputation. Complementing the atelier is a gallery-style retail space showcasing an international selection of design-forward brands and artists, including Third Reason jewelry, Teenage Engineering audio objects, Adieu and George Cox footwear, Binu Binu soaps, and a range of collectible art and coffee table books.
Founded in 1968 by Korean immigrant Richard Lim, High Society has long been revered for its mastery of form and impeccable tailoring. The atelier has dressed generations of Hollywood icons; from Prince and Brad Pitt to LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Ray Charles and its work has appeared in films such as Kill Bill, Drive, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The opening of this flagship cements the label’s enduring relevance, translating decades of sartorial heritage into a modern, immersive retail experience.
“This new chapter is about honoring tradition while pushing the boundaries of form and function,” says David Lim, Owner and Creative Director. “We are creating a space where craftsmanship meets cultural expression.” With its Beverly Boulevard flagship, High Society reaffirms its status as one of Los Angeles’ most respected and forward-looking fashion institutions, bridging past and present through the language of meticulous design.
