Erza Ketter Smith’s latest drop is a capsule debut showing his conceptual work in the form of a trouser, a top, and a hat; all a gender fluid collection that juxtaposes hard and soft. A steppingstone to wider offerings compared to his one-off work created for the social media experiment PAW* A Piece a Week. His strengths in the merging of utilitarian shapes and constructions with organic raw and rustic toned fabrics bring together a tactility to the preciousness, essentially hard design and soft fabrics. All this whilst maintaining a touch on whole fabrics, can not wait to see what he builds on.

The Dual Mule Trousers are loose and dynamic with a hidden details of blue and white seersucker acts as a chevron when re-buttoned. The shape of easy cool and breathy leisure. His corresponding Canyon Long-sleeve with its mid-weight linen and bateau neck firmly drapes along with the copious amount of buttons that line up asymmetrically along the left arm.
