A TELEPATHIC CONVERSATION BETWEEN A KITTEN AND HER MASTER is set against a deliberately kitsch visual language pulled from 1980s Italian erotic cinema, and the stylized violence of A Clockwork Orange, Daniele Paloni constructs a noir fairytale that is as visually seductive as it is emotionally unsettling. At its core is a kinky, psychologically charged romance seen through the alienated perspective of a humanoid kitten, trapped in a claustrophobic existence with her master turned jailer.

Guiding the audience through this disorienting landscape is the soft, hypnotic narration of Tea Hacic Vlahovic, whose voice anchors the film’s shifting tone. Her presence lends an intimate, almost confessional quality that deepens the sense of unease, pulling viewers further into a world that feels suspended between dream and nightmare. The result is a haunting, noir-tinged fable that blurs the line between fantasy and emotional reality, capturing a kind of loneliness that feels surreal yet painfully recognizable.
