Friday night Reserved Magazine joined Alkemis Paint in celebrating the opening of MC+ Design Gallery. The event was hosted by sculptor Mattia Biagi and Cardenio Petrucci. A multipurpose showroom that occupies the iconic former Spago restaurant on Sunset Boulevard and Holt. The skyline of the Sunset Strip drizzled with as all the attendees came out to celebrate art week.

The evening featured artwork from a diverse range of LA base creators, such as Nicolette Mishkan, Peter Shire, Melanie Pullen, Mattia Biagi, and many more. The space made compartmentalized featured a tattoo studio from the iconic, blah blah blah, as well as a iconic outdoor terrace, where guests conversed, smoked, drank, and celebrated. It was more than a party it was a happening.

After all the madness I came, the rain started to pour down and the crowd migrated to Jared Meisler’s yet to be opened preview of the Moon room on Melrose Boulevard. Mezcal poured endlessly as the room packed in. As the rain continued to pour harder, Photographer and Artist, Jeremy Kost jumped onto the DJ booth, playing a classic house set that got every woman and queen getting dirty a very reserved way to celebrate art week.
